Explore the daily rhythms of our arts magnet programs and how we support student success across all grade levels.
SCAPA Bluegrass
Our elementary arts magnet program runs from 8:25am to 3:45pm with doors opening at 7:55am. We provide a vibrant environment where 4th through 8th graders explore their creativity through theater, music, and visual arts.
SCAPA Lafayette
Our high school arts magnet program runs from 8:25am to 3:15pm with doors opening at 7:30am. Students in grades 9-12 have daily Major classes and rotate their academic electives on an A/B schedule.
Typical Day
Elementary students have their Major three times a week with electives on opposite days plus specials rotations. Middle schoolers have their Major daily, declare a Minor, and rotate academics on an A/B schedule. High schoolers have Major-related classes daily and rotate academics on an A/B schedule.
